The Chant
It took almost a decade of hard work to get where The Chant is today, but in the end it all paid off. Debut album “Ghostlines”, 54 minutes of melancholic music full of beautiful melodies and harmonies, was released in 2008 by Shadow World Records ! Their next album “This Is The World We Know” will be relased by Full Metal Records in early 2010
Murdershock
Murdershock was founded in 2005 but the story really starts from early 2007. The first two years Murdershock (2005- 2007) was only partly functional band which didn’t deliver any shows or demos. At that time it was only a project on the side for these guys. Their music was from the starters fast and energetic and there was no big developing process to find their unique sound. It kind of was there without any forced effort. When the first promo-EP Inside my insanity came out in early 2007, the guys realized that Murdershock can not be such way anymore. “IMI” was selected as the demo of the month in Imperiumi and Inferno. A long line of intense live shows started and got the good name of Murdershock going on and things started to roll…
Dauntless
The band was founded in 1991 by Sami Helle (vocals/guitar) under the name Maniax, shortly thereafter joined by drummer Santeri Salmi and bassist Tuomo Tukkimäki. The first demo “Face The Fact” was released 4 years later, and the second, called “Prophecy…”, in 1996. The music was some sort of hardcore-influenced thrash metal. In 1998, the initial band name was changed to Dauntless, and the music begun to seek its current shape. The third demo, “Cold I Am”, was released in 1998, and the band felt their line-up needed a second guitarist. Well, a lead guitarist anyway. The post was taken by Riku Katainen. In 1999 they recorded another demo called “Inhumankind”…
